Kara, 21, is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a degree in English with a minor in Environmental Studies. She currently lives in an off-campus apartment, with her two roommates and their possessed cat, Luna.

Kara started her college journey with a semester abroad in Barcelona through the Global Studies program, before transferring to the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021. Her writing covers topics such as health and wellness, environmental conservation, and personal growth, targeting college students and young adventurers.

When she's not studying, working, or writing, Kara is passionate about outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, and camping. She practices mindfulness and meditation to maintain balance in her busy life and enjoys spending quality time with friends, family, and her crazy cat Luna. Dislikes: traffic jams, pessimism, narrow-mindedness, and needles, but mostly traffic jams.
