Here at Every College Girl, we’re avid appreciators of all types of music. That’s why we’re very excited about a new feature we’re going to be showing you: outfits based on the #1 singles on the Billboard!
Over the past few weeks, some of the #1 songs were:
The #1 country song was “Drink in my Hand,” by Eric Church. This song is all about FUN, so we picked the perfect outfit to wear on a night out with your girlfriends. Naturally, we included cowboy boots, because what’s country music without a little boot-stomping?

The #1 pop song is “We Found Love,” by Rihanna. As the lyrics say, this is a song for lovers, being all about “finding love in a hopeless place.” So we chose a date-night outfit: The flowy pink top is feminine without being fussy, and the white skinnies and nude heels carry on that vibe. Add a sweet necklace and you’re ready to go!
The #1 song on the Hot 100 is Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.” This song is about getting over heartbreak, even when it’s very difficult. We chose an outfit that displays your tough side, because this song is all about being strong. No frills here! Pair destroyed skinny jeans with tough boots, a striped top (always a classic!) and fun red accessories to be fashionable but in charge.

What do you think?
