Jessica–Thanks! I played around with makeup in high school, but didn’t really get the hang of it til college either. The eye shadow as eye liner trick really is more natural. If you want a little more definition sometime, try out layering it overtop of normal liner like I suggested, maybe for a night out?

C–Thanks so much! The highlighter tip is definitely my favourite: it is one of those things that is so small, but makes a noticable difference. This is literally how I do my makeup every day.

Hey, I’ve been getting your blog via RSS feed and really enjoying it a lot. So I guess I should leave a comment to show my appreciation.

Personally, I wear eye makeup every day, but I didn’t start until I got to college. I always felt way too made up, but now I feel under done without it. I never use real eyeliner–I always use a dark eyeshadow that matches whatever I’m wearing. That way it’s not too heavy, and it looks pretty natural because it tends to smudge.
