Hi Ladies! This is Rahiel of Spoiled Little L.A. Girls, and I’ll be sharing four things every college girl should have to wear, put on her face, munch on, and link up! I am currently finishing my senior year at CSULB, and although I’ve never lived in the dorms, I do know a thing or two about campus life.

For Fashion: A Scarf

1. A scarf can shave time off getting ready in the morning. It can instantly add that extra pop of color or animal print to any drab outfit you threw on in a rush! It also doubles as a blanky in those cold lecture halls. The great thing is that you can find some that are really inexpensive. Make sure you check fabric content so you don’t get suckered into paying $40 for something you can get for half that price!

For Beauty: A Skin Care Regime

2. For beauty, first things first, a great skin care system. Personally, I can’t live without my Benefits blush, but it wouldn’t look nearly as nice if my skin wasn’t in check! Jennifer Rose (the other co-founder of Spoiled Little L.A. Girls) and myself both use Dermalogica. We went in for a Face Mapping session and they told us what products we need for our skin types. We swear by these products! But whatever system works for you is fine, as long as it’s doing the job.

For Snacks: PopChips

3. In between classes and got the munchies? Then PopChips! I found them in my schools vending machine labeled “healthy choice”. If you’re not careful and don’t plan ahead, your waist line can easily expand. So why not feed on a healthy option? Costco sells them in bulk variety packs. I’ve slowly seen them being sold at almost any store I go to now so they are easily accessible.

For Technology: Belkin Mini Surge

4. For my digital girls, in addition to a MacBook and a BlackBerry or iPhone, I love the Belkin Mini Surge with USB Charging. It has three outlets and two USB outlets. There are times, on campus, when I need at least two outlets and either can’t find one, or don’t want to be an outlet hog in class. Another great feature is that it doesn’t have a cord, it’s a wall mount!

Don’t forget to check Spoiled Little L.A. Girls for reviews on fashion pieces, beauty, goodies, and technology!

haha slightly amuses me that you say “don’t get suckered into buying something for $40!” and post a scarf thats 118 :P

Two things I can’t live without are… a quality, stylish purse and Mattify! Cosmetic’s Face Powder.
I love the Vera Wang purse styles they have at Kohl’s. They are cute, trendy, spacious and only cost around $50 bucks. If you have a cute outfit and an ugly purse, it brings down the whole look!
The Mattify! Face Powder is a must for me because my skin is INSANELY oily. I used to need oil blotting papers before & after every class – but now I can get through two whole classes, without having to worry that my face is an oil slick. It keeps my makeup on, and keeps my face looking fresh. That’s important to me because the desks in so many of our classrooms are like 2 inches away from eachother, so we’re almost face to face with the person next to us!

I was a little confused by the mini surge. I think there are many more items that are essential that don’t include extra outlets. Not hot.
