Ever wanted hot fudge on ice cream but didn’t have time to run to the store? Or wanted to frost cupcakes without the hassle of cooking for an extra hour? This super fun and sweet recipe will have you making gourmet, fudgy frosting in less than a minute.

Tools:

  • Microwave
  • Spoon
  • Small Cup/bowl

 Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup of chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp of sour cream
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • ¼ cup of powdered sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Spoon out chocolate chips, sour cream, and butter into a small cup/bowl.
  2. Microwave for 45 seconds (or until chocolate chips are melted).
  3. Stir.
  4. Add powdered sugar if you wish to thicken it. (If powdered sugar is out of your reach, more chocolate chips will have the same effect).

Mix It Up:

To add a twist of flavour, feel free to add a spoon full of peanut butter or, if you’re feeling a bit riskier, a splash of Bailey’s liquer. Or if you aren’t feeling up to ice-cream or cake, try dipping fruit into your concoction then freezing it for a fruitier treat.
