Bored with the cafeteria food and your unhealthy snacks? Try out this delicious, easy recipe that’s a spin on our earlier recipe for classic ranch chicken!

Cheesy, Crunchy Ranch Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken
  • Ranch dressing
  • Shredded cheese
  • Bread crumbs

Directions:

  1. Cook the chicken in the oven at 350 for about 40 minutes, or until it’s white on the inside. (This is super-important! The chicken MUST be white on the inside – even a little pink can be unhealthy and make you sick!)
  2. Pour the ranch into one bowl and the bread crumbs in another.
  3. Roll the chicken in the Ranch, then in the crumbs to coat. Put the chicken back in the cooking pan.
  4. Sprinkle top with cheese.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes and enjoy!

Notes:

  1. There’s no quantities listed, because it’s up to you! Don’t like that much ranch? Just use a little. Don’t want cheese, or prefer your chicken un-crunchy? Make the necessary adjustments.
  2. You can use any kind of cheese you want!
  3. You don’t have to use bread crumbs. Anything small and crunchy will work. I used chicken seasoning in a bag.

If that really is the right cooking time, you wouldn’t take out the chicken when it’s cooked only to put it back in for fifteen more minutes. You would take it out fifteen minutes earlier, and put it back in time to cook it. If you take out the chicken when it’s cooked, and put it back in, it’ll overcook and become dry.

    Lisha–

You’ve never seen ranch dressing before? Where do you live??
Its, like, the most basic dressing in the world! Really, it is the only salad dressing most kids eat when they’re little.

In the US (I assume you live in another country since you’ve never seen ranch before?) we eat it with baby carrots and other veggies. Also people dip pizza in it, or buffalo wings.
