Love making these cookies! I only make them about twice of year because of how expensive they are to make. I always make sure I have enough for my family and friends, they all love them!!

  3. avatar Alyssa says:

This is my go to cookie recipe! I always cha ge the flavor of the pudding what kind of mix ins though! Today in using pumpkin spice pudding with dark chocolate m&ms! Usually I use French vanilla pudding and mix of specialty m&ms and chocolate chips

  4. avatar Lindsey says:

I’ve been making these for a few Christmas’s now, every one I know LOVES them and they talk about them all year. I make it x6 or x7, put them in tins and hand them out to friends, family, teachers, mail carriers, my husband’s customers… etc. BEST cookie recipe I have ever found!

i love these! Since my brother and (ex)boyfriend are allergic to peanuts I modified the recipe. I did one cup milk chips, one cup white chips, one cup m&m’s, 3/4 cup toffee bits. They came out great and are always delish!! They are the perfect comfort cookies when you don’t want just plain old chocolate chip!! Thanks!!!

By far one of my favorite cookie recipes — I plan on making them for Christmas with red & green chocolate chips & M&M’s. So easy & you can really add any chocolate, candy, or nuts you’d like! Mmmm mmm yum! FANTASTIC!

  9. avatar Stacey says:

Do you mix the vanilla pudding by itself and than add into dry mixture?

  10. avatar Larry says:

I have made these many times already.(saw them on Pinterest) all my family loves them. I use choc.chips, white choc.chips, butterscotch chips, peanut butter chips and lots of walnuts. I have never made enough as my kids always want to take them home.

  11. avatar Holly says:

These cookies are great! The only thing I would do different is cut down on the amount of chips. Only because there is more chips than there is batter. So my cookies are coming apart as I take them out of the oven. Leah-I’m not finished baking them but it makes a lot of cookies!

  12. avatar Leah says:

I just wanted to know how many cookies this will make in total?!

  13. avatar Jen says:

I just made these to give my 8-year-old’s teachers as thank you gifts for the last day of school tomorrow…I also made some for him to take to an after-school party so I skipped the m&ms & reese’s pieces but it was still AMAZING!!! (My kiddo is allergic to artificial dyes & can’t have colorful candies) Even the raw dough tasted yummy…it was a good thing that my hubby wasn’t home when I was making them otherwise I wouldn’t have had any cookies to give anyone!! My only problem with this recipe was something I discovered after I was done baking…the vanilla pudding has artificial dyes so my kiddo can’t have them after all…boo!! :( I wonder if anyone has any ideas for a substitution? Thank you so much again for a great cookie recipe, I am definitely going to be making more of these SOON!!! :)

How many cookies does this recipe make?

  15. avatar Kristen says:

I just made these because well…they had been siting in pinterest board for a minute lol. So when I am at home I always have the urge to bake (not a good idea for a diabetic lol). I made these using splenda sugar blends for both brown and granulated sugars. These were amazing. I only did have the recipe and they will be soft enough for my boyfriend because he is selective about the texture of his cookies lol. I have seen people ask how many does this recipe yield. Well using a cookie scoop for have the recipe I yielded just under 4 dozen (41 total) so doing the full recipe you would get a lot of cookies which some party people or co worker would be happy. :)

    • avatar jenna says:

Your cookies must have been tiny! I made the whole recipe and came out with exactly 41 and they’re average sized cookies!

  16. avatar kim says:

Do you just mix it or use beaters?

  17. avatar Alexandra says:

Not only does my boyfriend love these cookies, EVERYONE does! I made them for a school bake sale and they sold out before the bake sale even officially started! They are, hands down, the best cookies I’ve ever had!

  22. avatar Debora says:

I remember many, many years ago, my friend made cookies for a boy she liked that were very similar to this…they were the bomb! But he just used her for her baking skills–she would make them all the time for him…….

  23. avatar Simone says:

Does the pudding mix go in dry or mixed with milk first?
