If you’re a senior and graduating soon, it’s time to tone those legs for your walk down the aisle to get your hard earned diploma! And for everyone else… well, it’s never too early to start. But in all seriousness, this “Perfect Ten” workout is great for anyone looking to shape and tone their legs without jumping on the elliptical or stationary bike, and can be done outside of the gym as no equipment is required. So get sweating!
Always make sure to start with stretching, walking, yoga, or light cardio to warm your body up.
- 10 forward lunges on each leg
- 10 star jumps
- 10 reverse lunges on each leg
- 10 squat jumps
- 10 step ups
- 10 leg lifts
- 10 single leg bridges
- 10 leg lifts
- wall squat, hold for 100 seconds
- if you’re not feeling the burn – repeat!
When cooling down make sure to drink lots of water and end with plenty of stretching, making sure your heart rate has returned to normal before you sit or lay down.
This workout is great because it can benefit people of all fitness levels, just simply repeat or add repetitions to adjust to your needs!
