In case you were wondering about the sporadic posting as of late, I thought I’d let everyone know that I’ve been blessed with a lovely bout of end-of-summer cold. This consists of, but is not limited to, runny nose, tearing eyes, sore throat, sneezing, coughing, headache, and generally feeling like a frosh at the end of orientation week. In honour of this lovely setback, I decided I would share with you all my favourite sore throat remedy, mostly because this illness is about all I can focus on at the moment. Enjoy!
Sore Throat Remedy
Tools:
- mug
- microwave
Ingredients:
- 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 cup water
Directions:
- Fill the mug up with water and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes on high to heat up.
- While the water heats, slice 2-3 slices of lemon.
- Squeeze the lemon wedges into the hot water and drop them into the mug.
- Add the honey and stir.
- Drink to soothe your sore throat!
