Makeup Brush

Too much blush? Eyeshadow? Lipstick? There’s nothing worse than having too much makeup and not enough time to wash your face and completely start over. Don’t worry, with these tips you’ll be able to remedy any makeup overload and be out the door in minutes.

Too Much Blush:

-take a cotton ball and wipe it in the same direction that you applied the blush to remove excess colour

-if there’s still too much, take a clean brush and lightly apply some powder the same colour as your skin to cover it up

-be careful not to rub or brush too hard when removing, as this will cause your skin to redden, emphasizing the blush even more

Too Much Eyeshadow:

-again, a cotton swab should do most of the dirty work, rub it in gentle circles over your whole eyelid

-next, rub a skin-coloured cream shadow over the whole lid, it will grease up the shadow and make it easier to wipe away with a clean cotton ball

-if the shadow is particularly loose, like glitter, use a piece of Scotch tape and press it gently to any areas gone astray, it will easily lift it off

Too Much Lipstick:

-first, blot with a tissue by pressing your lips against it, but don’t rub

-next, add some baby oil or Vaseline to a damp washcloth and gently rub your lips in a circular motion

-rinse the cloth and wipe the remaining colour and oil away with warm water and a mild facial cleanser, then rinse

There you have it! Crisis averted, fabulous and flawless face restored. Something every college girl should know.
