Although the second semester of school has just started, it will be over before you know it! Soon you will hopefully be embarking on a fast-paced and career-enhancing summer internship. How do you get that dream placement? First, you have to know where to look.
Search Online
There are many websites that can direct you to fabulous internships for the summer:

Network
Another way to secure an internship is to use your connections. Anyone from your parents, parents’ friends, friend’s parents etc. Someone in your life is bound to know someone somewhere who is hiring.
Use Your School’s Career Center
Another option is through your school. I personally recommend checking out your university’s co-op program (if they have one). I have had two very successful and beneficial placements through mine (and BONUS: the jobs usually pay!).
Any way you choose to search get on it fast! There are only so many great internships out there.
